You can download Pinball Dreams by Batman Group since yesterday. Here they come mad flipper games, dont tilt too much though.

After Hibernated, Stefan Vogt wrote Eight feet under which reveals some unknown events of the first game. It was first available for buyers of Hibernated, and is now available for all on C64, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, Amiga, Atari ST, MS-DOS and also a new MSX version.

And of course, Hibernated 2 is WIP.

Jose Javier Garcia Aranda has released a new version of 8BP v37 (8bits de poder : 8bits of power), a RSX library to write Amstrad CPC games in basic (26 Kb max). You can download 8bp on github.

This version is faster, the COLAY command is better, and a new manual.

On the 8th November a book will be released about the Amstrad history in Spain, written by Jesús Martínez del Vas : Queremos Su Dinero (we want your money). You will learn more about Indescomp, Amstrad Spain and José Luis Domínguez (founder of Indescomp in 1982).

The book will be showed for the first time the 5th November at the Fnac of Callao (Madrid) with José Luis Dominguez himself.

Personnally I will buy this book, a good way to ameliorate my spanish. I dont see it yet on Amazon or Fnac though at the moment, so no pre-order.

The uRTC-8 universal RTC by Jon Bradbury is a Real Time Clock interface for Amstrad PCW (or others Z80 computers). It only costs 37 pounds fully assembled (add shipping costs).

This interface cant be used on an Amstrad CPC : I/O are using 16 bits addresses instead of 8.

Jon is also the author of another interface still for Amstrad CPC and PCW : UIDE Universal IDE adapter cards for Z-80 computers which let you connect either a CompactFlash card or a Disk on Module (DOM). It exists in 2 models : uIDE-16 (for Amstrad CPC, but can also work with a 8 bit addressing on others Z80 computers) and uIDE-8 for Amstrad PCW (but can't work on Amstrad CPC).

Caprice Forever v2019-10 by Frédéric Coste is a modified version of the Caprice emulator (by Ulrich Doewich) for windows.

Roguelike games are quite old like rogue, hack, moria, angband, nethack...

And today there is one in basic on Amstrad CPC by Paquito.

Collapse OS is a z80 kernel and a collection of programs, tools and documentation that allows you to assemble an OS that can (available on Github) :

• Run on minimal and improvised machines
• Interface through improvised means (serial, keyboard, display)
• Edit text files
• Compile assembler source files for a wide range of MCUs and CPUs
• Read and write from a wide range of storage devices
• Replicate itself

Additionally, the goal of this project is to be as self-contained as possible. With a copy of this project, a capable and creative person should be able to manage to build and install Collapse OS without external resources (i.e. internet) on a machine of her design, built from scavenged parts with low-tech tools.

His author has been contacted, he seems interesting in porting it on Amstrad CPC. It already works on RC2014 and the Sega Mega Drive.

The remake of Ghost'n Goblins for Amstrad CPC 6128+ by Golem13, Winner and Ixien will be showed at the Alchimie 13, the first three levels are playable.

CPCEC (windows) is a new Amstrad CPC emulator by CNGSOFT released in 2019, which replaces CPCE (dos/windows).

A 12th release is available since the 4th October.

The Carnival Masks is an adventure text by Stéphane F. initially in french and basic between 1991 et 1995. It wasnt finished at thtis time. Today he used the r WinApe emulator to finish it, correcting bugs and add the english translation to the original french version.

The firmware v1.0.8 of the Imperium Solo by Duke is available. It's an adaptator to use USB joysticks (PS4, Xbox One...) on a standard joystick port of an Amstrad CPC (and later ZX Spectrum, C64, Amiga and Atari ST).

Xalk is a match 3type game written by Anthony HENRIQUES in 1991 and published in the issue 33 of the Amstrad 100% newspaper in January 1991, following the release of the game Klax.

In 2017 Anthony HENRIQUES rewrote parts of the game : diagonal matches and combos, bug crushing. The speed at the start of the game is more or less random and the game can be paused with the Space key.

In 2019 Tom et Jerry, Kukulcan for the programmation and Ixien for the music also did enhance the game once more.

Who doesnt know CPCemu ? It's the first Amstrad CPC emulator for msdos by Marco Vieth and Rainer Loritz (for the linux and windows versions).

Today Marco Vieth has written CPCBasic which lets you transform an Amstrad CPC basic program in javascript, so you can use it on a web page !

Recalbox v6.1 is a Linux distribution first for Raspberry Pi but also now for Odroid cards and PC (32 and 64 bit). It's a specialized distribution for emulation of old game consoles and computers. Last version is supporting the Amstrad GX4000 console.

Cheman is the last Amstrad CPC game (and ZX Spectrum) by the Mojon Twins, a mix of platform and adventure.

It was available as a tape physical edition at the RetroZaragoza 2019 which took place the 28th October at the Delicias Civic Center in the Zaragoza town.

But it's still possible to get a physical edition if at least 25 people are interested (check the first link up there).
