The 24th August 2012, we could listen to a french radio for 2 minutes and 26 seconds on France info talking about Amstrad CPC : familles à tout prix with Jean Zeid and 2 other people : Guillaume Delalande, journalist at LCI and Philippe Dubois, président of the mo5.com association.
CPC Génération is a nice video (no need to understand french) by Tau Ceti about Amstrad CPC. I invite you to see it. The video is quite dark, the effect is intented.
The music of CPC Génération is available on SoundCloud.
No no, I don't suggest that the Commodore 64 is 2 points better than our beloved Amstrad CPC. Far from my mind, the C64 is just ... different, I was never interested in the war between machines.
In fact the Commodore 64 celebrates its 30th birthday, whereas we have to wait until September 2012 for the Amstrad CPC 464 to celebrate its 28th birthday.
Two old men who still looks good and healthly.
You will find on Phenix Informatique an interview of Alain Massoumipour (alias Poum) who wrote for the french Amstrad CPC magazine Amstrad 100%.
If you throwed all your issues of Amstrad 100%, you will find them on le site des anciennes revues informatiques.
You really have to love your Amstrad CPC to pay 180 € for the issue 1 of the french magazine Amstar and 159 € for the issue 3 of the same Amstar.
200 € for an Amstrad CPC 664 without its screen on Ebay, it's another nice sum of money.
Be original, for the 2012 St Valentin, offer an Amstrad CPC to the person you love, seing the current price, it seems to be a beautiful gift that make her jump into your arms for a lovely ambrace (or not, just try it and let me know if it works. I wont reimburse you if the gift isnt appreciated).
For the end, a special prize : the Amstrad CPC game Meurtre en série by Cobra Soft again on Ebay for 329 €, with its physical clues).

Kangaroo is today blowing out &28 candles. For my part, due to my light dyslexia, I never felt so young at 24 years old. By the way, you can also find Kangaroo on Jamendo
A new algorythm able to transform bitmap graphics such as on an Amstrad CPC to vector graphics, has been created. It can create smooth, curved contour lines from only-connected-on-the-diagonal single pixels. That would mean playing games on a big screen without big ugly pixels. See below for the link.
I wish you a happy new year 2011, and a lot of Amstrad CPC meetings
Merry Christmas 2010
Thanks to Papy CPC (at the Amstrad Expo 2010 meeting) who knows this site better than me, this picture gallery file which was credited to an unknown artist has found its rightful author : Jill lawson. Below you will see her beautiful mode 1 pictures. Enjoy them (last 2 pictures comes from les sucres en morceaux).
It just needs a lot of tapes...
