Ben Daglish (musician) died on the 1st October 2018 (52 years old only...)

Ben Daglish is a musician and composer for 8bit games (Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, C64 and well the 16bit Amiga).

The youtube video with Ben Daglish took place at the London "Underground" pub on the 15th of October 2016 where he performed with Fastloaders two music tracks, The Wastelands loader and The Wastelands theme (Last Ninja game on C64).







8bit music played by an orchestra in June 2019

In June 2019, 8bit music will be played (1 hour and 40 mintes) by an orchestra at the Hull Philharmonic Orchestra.

From time to time, an article not about Amstrad computers, well till 1986 when Amstrad bought the computer part of Sinclair Research.

A MAC remake of Cauldron by Boris360 (WIP)

Boris (Boris360 on Twitter) is working on a Cauldron 1 remake on MAC (eventually also on Android and iOS as he is using Xamarin Forms).





A WIP Toki Amstrad CPC 6128 game by AmstradGPP

A first teaser appeared on the 3th April on Twitter, and no it's not faked news. Toki is a work in progress by two frogs. It wwill be released first on Amstrad CPC 6128 (forget 64 Kb CPC without memory extension) then a bit later on CPC+ (CPC+ version canceled finally).

Toki for Amstrad CPC wont use the hardware to the maximum but will have all graphics, monsters and levels. The sound part and programmation are well advanced.

Their twitter has messages in french, english and spanish !



Interview of Jorge Azpiri by Un pasado mejor

Jorge Azpiri, nephew of Alfonso Azpiri (a great illustrator who died in August 2017) has been interviewed by Un pasado mejor (spanish). He made the graphics for the Amstrad CPC Navy Moves game (Dinamic) and for other 16bit Topo Soft games (Lorna, Viaje al Centro de la Tierra, Titanic).
