In quite old times, creating a new adventure game without programming it from A to Z meant using programs like :
DAAD could have been lost forever, except that the systems disks were found in 2014 by Mr. SAMUDIO and released in the public domain sadly without english support which was missing. Happily Tim Gilberts teamed with Stefan Vogt (author of Hibernated 1 released in 2018, a science fiction adventure) and restored and extended the english language support, and letting use a modern editor. The new version supports the same platform than the original DAAD. A new version of DAAD (v2 R2) (all tools to create a new game) was released in 2018 and a DAAD compiler v2.42 update in 2019. DAAD also supports the german language now.
But today you can use other tools than excluding or complimentary to DAAD :

I happily received my Repoker de Ases par 4Mhz which is a compilation of games made by 4Mhz in a cartridge, a dandanator in fact.
With its 1 Mb RAM and 1 Mb ROM, I was able to launch the only 1 Mb demo on Amstrad : bad apple, nice also with SymbOS with so much memory. Dont forget the 512 Kb RAM drive and also the wifi like the M4 board by Duke. It is only lacking more AY for more sound channels, but it will be for the next release as stated by 4Mhz.
P.S. : the first paragraph is the truth, it is quite possible that the second one is an April fool.
Arcade Game Designer v0.7.3 is a Windows (32/64) utility by Jonathan Cauldwell to write games for Timex/Next, ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, Acorn Electron, Dragon/Coco and Enterprise, without any knowing of programmation.
This new version adds : Windows 32 bit version, option to import AGD/AGDX games from TAP files, new options in the script generator, new tool to check for mistakes, 2 default fonts, numerous bug fixes, support for Acorn Electron, Dragon/Coco and Enterprise, updated documentation.

The music of Pinball Dreams by Batman Group is available on soundcloud. It was written by SuTeKH/Epyteor and converted on Amstrad CPC by McKlain and RaFT/TRSI.

The programming of Flying Shark was done just with the mother board of the arcade game, no more, no less. Graftgold had to find an arcade box and a TV set and play, play, play to write the Amstrad CPC conversion.
Orpheus 8-Bit by Bitlines is a remake of the adventure game Orphée released in 1985 by Loriciels. It was one of the two games I bought with Sorcery+ with my Amstrad CPC 664 the same year, sweet dreams. The video is done by Tarodius.
Slap Fight (A.L.C.O.N.) is a shoot them up already existing on Amstrad CPC since 1987. Abalore started to work on a remake in 2016 and today a second video of this remake is available with the first level of the game.
Abalore accepts every help possible to make this new remake.
Pinball Dreams by Batman Group is near completion, it is actually tested before the upcoming release.
Beware, an Amstrad CPC with 128 Kb memory is needed.
Nanako is a game character first seen on ZX Spectrum, and later in 2009 on Amstrad CPC en 2009 in two game by The Mojon Twins which we find once again 10 years later upgraded in a compilation called Nanako Chronicles (sold by BitmapSoft) :

After the windows remake FitoWestBank by Adolfito, it's now an Android remake by the same author which has been released in January 2019.
About 31 years later after trying for the first time at 10 years old, Jaymanu did finish the game Relief Action by Loriciels released in 1987. You should read the thread on CPCWiki for the informations, pokes and a SNR file to replay his game on WinAPE (put the emulation speed at 400% for less slowness).
